The Timpson Bears will square off against the Hemphill Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Meanwhile, Hemphill came into Friday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They breezed by Merryville at home to the tune of 44-12 on Friday. The Hornets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Trevon Mcdaniel was his usual excellent self, rushing for 233 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Richyon Smith, who rushed for 42 yards and two touchdowns.
He was just one part of a punishing run game: Hemphill was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 295 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Timpson's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2. As for Hemphill, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
