Basketball Game Preview: Monroe Campus vs. Stevenson Ambassadors

Monroe Campus will challenge the Stevenson Ambassadors at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Monday, Monroe Campus was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 53-52 to Marshall Academy. The contest marked Monroe Campus' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Stevenson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took an 81-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brandeis. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (61), the Ambassadors still had to take the loss.

Monroe Campus' loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3. As for Stevenson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Monroe Campus took their win against Stevenson in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 93-68. Will Monroe Campus repeat their success, or does Stevenson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
