Basketball Game Preview: Milan Bulldogs vs. Crockett County Cavaliers

The Milan Bulldogs will head out to take on the Crockett County Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Milan is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They were dealt a 58-26 loss at the hands of Ripley. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 369th, while the Tigers are ranked 182nd).

Meanwhile, Crockett County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Obion County, falling 72-49.

Crockett County's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Milan, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Milan came up short against Crockett County in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 54-50. Can Milan avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
