Baseball Game Preview: Orleans Bulldogs vs. Springs Valley Blackhawks

The Orleans Bulldogs will face off against the Springs Valley Blackhawks at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Orleans is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since April 21st on Thursday. They lost 7-1 to Paoli. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Orleans saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Berning, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Springs Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Perry Central.

Noah Allstott was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one double.

Springs Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Orleans, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-17.
