Palm Beach Central barely beat Oxbridge Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Palm Beach Central Broncos never let the Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Thursday. That looming 10-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Broncos yet this season.

Ernesto Hernandez and Josh Tombari dominated on the mound. Hernandez tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits, while Tombari pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hernandez has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Luca Yohe, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Another player making a difference was Slade Wayne, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Palm Beach Central hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oxbridge Academy struck out eight times.

Palm Beach Central is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Oxbridge Academy is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palm Beach Central will face off against Park Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Park Vista comes in on four and Palm Beach Central on three. As for Oxbridge Academy, they will challenge Saint Andrew's at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
