Splendora lost against Crosby back in February of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Splendora Wildcats took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crosby Cougars. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Crosby got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lamaya Clark out in front who went 8 of 14 en route to 18 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jasmine Zapata, who posted four points and seven rebounds.

Splendora's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Crosby, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Splendora will take on West Fork in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for West Fork: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while Splendora has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road. As for Crosby, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Crosby Cougars face off against the Kingwood Park Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
