Alameda moved up to 457 from 542 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in West Alameda County - Shoreline. The Hornets climbed the ranks as a result of besting Hillsdale 55-24.
San Lorenzo lost to Hercules 62-13 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Jonathan Sturholm threw for 420 yards and 5 touchdowns. He was 27-41 with 0 interception.
Ray Fat had an awesome week catching the football as Mt. Eden beat Mt. Diablo. He caught 13 passes for 229 yards.
Fat was the best receiver in the league this week as the Monarchs bested the Red Devils. Fat racked up 13 receptions for 229 yards. Dominic Williams helped Mt. Eden's passing attack out by catching 10 balls for 123 yards.
Mt. Eden's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Monarchs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sturholm has thrown for 1,186 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Williams has 30 catches for 418 yards.
Alameda made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,380 from 7,611. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 55-24 victory over the Knights last week.
