Softball Recap: Pierz Comes Up Short

Pierz fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Foley on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 6-4. The Pioneers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Pierz's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Foley, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pierz will welcome Sauk Centre at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Foley, they will be playing at home against Little Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
