Patton is 7-2 against East Burke since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Patton Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the East Burke Cavaliers at 5:30 p.m. Patton will be strutting in after a win while East Burke will be coming in after a loss.

Patton made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Freedom, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went Patton's way against Freedom on Friday as Patton made off with a 4-1 victory. Fans of the Panthers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Ana Velasquez and Lorely Tzul-Vasquez scored all four of Patton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, East Burke came up short against Freedom on Thursday, falling 6-2. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

The win was the third in a row for Patton, bringing their record for this year to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for East Burke, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Patton skirted past East Burke 3-2 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Patton since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
