Volleyball Recap: Capital Takes a Loss

Capital lost against Spring Valley back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars fell 2-0 to the Timberwolves. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Jada Fruit paced Capital's offense, picking up four kills. Fruit really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with nine. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Capital's defeat dropped their record down to 13-25-4. As for Spring Valley, their win bumped their record up to 28-11-6.

Capital has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against South Charleston on the 25th. As for Spring Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Parkersburg on the 25th.
