After a string of four wins, Stratford's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the East Nashville Magnet Eagles and fell 56-24. Having soared to a lofty 64 points in the game before, the Spartans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Stratford lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jaylee Dewalt, who posted seven points.

Stratford's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-9. As for East Nashville Magnet, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 17-0.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Whites Creek the next time they take the court. Stratford will head out to face Whites Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while East Nashville Magnet will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
