Centralia was handed a three-set defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Montgomery County Wildcats 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since September 30, 2024.

Centralia wouldn't go down easily and took Montgomery County into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 27-25, 15-25, 23-25, 15-9.

Centralia has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-15-1 record this season. As for Montgomery County, they dropped their record down to 3-23-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
