Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Roosevelt can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Nipomo Titans on Thursday. If the Rough Riders were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Titans when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 25-22.

Roosevelt moved to 12-18 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Nipomo, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Roosevelt nor Nipomo have any future games scheduled.
