After having lost a blowout in their previous game against King's Fork, Hickory was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 48-14 victory over the Grassfield Grizzlies. Considering the Hawks have won four matchups by more than 22 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Hickory's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.0 points over those games. As for Grassfield, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coming up, Hickory will challenge Indian River at 7:00 p.m. on November 7. The Braves' defense has only allowed 14.4 points per game this season, so the Hawks' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Grassfield, they will take on Deep Creek at 7:00 p.m. on November 7.
