Baseball Recap: Dutchtown Comes Up Short

Dutchtown and Barbe squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Dutchtown had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Buccaneers by a score of 2-0. The shutout was out of character for the Griffins seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

With the loss, Dutchtown broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 29-15. As for Barbe, the win was the 29th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 35-4.

While Dutchtown had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
