Softball Recap: Southwest Comes Up Short

Southwest's last matchup with Wheaton could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Thursday. The Trojans lost 15-5 to the Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by exactly ten runs.

Southwest has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Wheaton, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Coming up, Southwest will take on Ash Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wheaton, they will head out on the road to face off against Galena at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
