While losing is never fun, Don Bosco can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 140th, while Dike-New Hartford are ranked 29th).

Don Bosco's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Dike-New Hartford, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3-1.

Don Bosco has already played their next match (against Aplington-Parkersburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Dike-New Hartford, they will host North Tama at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
