Basketball Recap: Niceville Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Niceville extended their home winning streak to eight games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Fred Libby. The Niceville Eagles snuck past the Mosley Dolphins with a 50-46 win on Friday thanks in part to Libby, who posted 15 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Another player making a difference was Jackson Hamman, who went 5 for 10 en route to 10 points and seven boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Several Dolphins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Eli Mcfatter, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. Drew Wilkas was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.

Niceville's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Mosley, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Niceville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-43 loss against Milton on the 14th. Mosley has also already played their next game, a 64-40 win against North Bay Haven Academy on the 11th.
