Basketball Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Kennedy suffered their closest defeat since December 11, 2023 on Monday. They fell just short of the Paint Branch Panthers by a score of 57-55. While the Cavaliers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 21-15 in the first quarter.

Isaiah Lee was his usual excellent self, putting up 11 points and three blocks for Paint Branch. Another player making a difference was Ryan Tientcheu, who made all 5 shots he took racking up 14 points and seven boards.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Paint Branch, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.

Coming up, Kennedy will face off against Einstein on Friday. As for Paint Branch, they will head out to challenge Richard Montgomery at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
