Volleyball Recap: Whitney Young Takes a Loss

Whitney Young lost against Taft back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Dolphins fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Whitney Young sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-18, 21-25, 25-18.

Whitney Young has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-15 record this season. As for Taft, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 24-7.

Whitney Young has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Evergreen Park on the 27th. As for Taft, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Von Steuben on the 21st.
