Chino Hills proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Etiwanda Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Huskies have posted since April 6, 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Chino Hills who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 22-25, 25-17, 19-25, 15-13.

Chino Hills' record is now 8-6. As for Etiwanda, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

When Chino Hills and Etiwanda next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Chino Hills will try to stop Upland's nine-game winning streak when they meet at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Etiwanda will take on Rancho Cucamonga and their ten-game winning streak at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
