Volleyball Recap: Homestead Takes Down Huntington North in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Homestead rose to the challenge on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Huntington North Vikings with a sharp 3-0 win. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Harrison Talarico was the offensive standout of the game as he had eight digs and four aces. That's the most aces he has posted since back in April.

Talarico wasn't the only good server: Homestead was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Huntington North didn't served any aces.

Homestead's win bumped their record up to 28-5. As for Huntington North, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.

Homestead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Heritage on the 17th. Huntington North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
