The Westview Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Crismon Rattlers at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Westview has given up an average of 10.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Westview fell victim to Yuma and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Criminals, falling 12-0.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Emma Phelps looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 7 strikeouts per game.

On the hitting side, Sophia Salvidar and Isabella Salado did most of the damage at the plate: Salvidar scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4, while Salado went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. With that strong performance, Salvidar is now averaging an impressive 2.5 runs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Julissa Saldivar, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double.

Crismon was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .686. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.
