Baseball Recap: South Prairie/Max Comes Up Short

South Prairie/Max was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Harvey Hornets, falling 9-1.

Hayden Bohl made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases. Those stolen bases were his first of the season.

South Prairie/Max's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Harvey, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, South Prairie/Max will be playing at home against Velva/Drake/Anamoose at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Aggies' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so South Prairie/Max's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Harvey, they will head out to take on Bottineau at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
