Basketball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a hard 84-70 fall against the Snow Hill Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 268th, while the Eagles are ranked 69th).

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Snow Hill, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Coming up, Washington will face off against Kent County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Snow Hill has already played their next game (against Crisfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
