Football Recap: LeFlore Takes a Loss + How To Watch

LeFlore lost against Citronelle back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rattlers took a 24-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Blake Phillips threw for 80 yards on eight of 15 attempts. Demetrius Toney was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards.

Kemarkys Howard was nothing short of spectacular for Citronelle: he rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 105 yards on only seven passes. That's the most rushing yards Howard has posted since back in August.

LeFlore's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Citronelle, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

LeFlore wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 28-0 loss against Williamson on the 24th. As for Citronelle, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 33-7 win against Elberta on the 24th.
