Volleyball Recap: Capac Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Capac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Ubly Bearcats, falling 3-0. If the Chiefs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bearcats when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-7, 25-12.

Ubly found their leader in sophomore Madyson Schumacher, who had eight aces and three digs. Those eight aces set a new season-high mark for Schumacher.

Capac's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Ubly, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Capac has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Brown City on the 18th. As for Ubly, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Portland on the 20th.
