Baseball Game Preview: Lewiston Blue Devils vs. Brewer Witches

Lewiston is on a five-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Brewer a four-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Lewiston Blue Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Brewer Witches at 4:30 p.m. Lewiston has given up an average of 16.4 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lewiston managed to slip by Camden Hills the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Blue Devils came up short against the Windjammers on Wednesday, falling 14-2.

Meanwhile, Brewer came up short against Hermon on Wednesday and fell 6-2. That's two games in a row now that the Witches have lost by exactly four runs.

Lewiston's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Brewer, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-7.
