Basketball Recap: Blue Ridge Comes Up Short

Blue Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The matchup between them and the Montrose Meteors didn't end well, with the Blue Ridge Raiders falling 56-39. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-51 two weeks ago.

Blue Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Montrose, they pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Blue Ridge will host Forest City at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Montrose, they will head out on the road to face off against Mountain View at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
