Basketball Recap: Leavitt Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Leavitt finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They took a hard 45-30 fall against the Poland Knights. The matchup marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Leavitt now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Poland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leavitt will welcome Medomak Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Poland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sacopee Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
