Aj Mcbean Delivers Best Effort of Season

Aj Mcbean produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Mira Costa to the win on Friday. Mcbean rushed for 332 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 65 yards.

Seth Shigg Turns in Season-Best Effort

On Friday, Culver City had to settle for second even though Seth Shigg put up the best numbers he has all season. Shigg threw for 442 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns.

Culver City moved to 5-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. Shigg and Culver City will be playing in front of their home fans against Leuzinger at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
