Landrum won the last time they faced Spartanburg and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cardinals walked away with a 2-0 win over the Vikings.

Landrum's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ella Wilkie led the charge by getting six aces and three digs.

Wilkie wasn't the only good server: Landrum was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matches.

Landrum's victory bumped their record up to 10-7-1. As for Spartanburg, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Landrum didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 1-1 tie against Chapin on the 13th. As for Spartanburg, they will take on Boiling Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
