Basketball Game Preview: Henry-Senachwine Mallards vs. St. Bede Bruins

The Henry-Senachwine Mallards will face off against the St. Bede Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Monday, Henry-Senachwine lost to Stark County on the road by a 57-43 margin. The Mallards haven't had much luck with the Rebels recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, St. Bede fought the good fight in their overtime match against LaMoille on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 79-75 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (61), the Bruins still had to take the loss.

Henry-Senachwine's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for St. Bede, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-16.
