Volleyball Recap: Tomahawk Comes Up Short

Tomahawk lost against Lakeland back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hatchets took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thunderbirds. The Hatchets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Tomahawk ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 18-25, 25-22.

Tomahawk now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Lakeland, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-5.

Coincidentally, Tomahawk and Lakeland will both be playing Prentice the next time they take the court. The Hatchets will host the Buccaneers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Thunderbirds will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
