Football Game Preview: Cassville Wildcats vs. Harrisonville Wildcats

Cassville will challenge Harrisonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cassville has given up an average of 28.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Cassville challenged Lamar on Friday. The Wildcats fell 35-26 to the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Harrisonville put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Warrensburg by a score of 35-28. The score was all tied up 21-21 at the break, but the Wildcats were the better team in the second half.

Cassville better keep an eye on Levi Hall. He was instrumental in Harrisonville's win, rushing for 162 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 135 yards and two TDs while completing 78.6% of his passes. That's the most rushing yards Hall has posted since back in October of 2024. A healthy portion of Hall's aerial production (80 yards to be exact) went to Stryker Gilmore.

Cassville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Harrisonville, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Cassville came up short against Harrisonville in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, falling 13-7. Thankfully for Cassville, Brandon Phillips (who rushed for 141 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
