Baseball Game Preview: Madison Comprehensive Rams vs. Columbian Tornadoes

The Madison Comprehensive Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Columbian Tornadoes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madison Comprehensive has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 30.

Madison Comprehensive came up short against Shelby on Friday, falling 8-2.

Madison Comprehensive saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylor Stegall, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Chase Elliott also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Columbian came up short against Clay on Monday and fell 4-1.

Jamison Woessner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks.

Madison Comprehensive's loss dropped their record down to 3-24. As for Columbian, their defeat was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 8-13.

Madison Comprehensive couldn't quite finish off Columbian in their previous matchup back in April and fell 7-5. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
