Basketball Recap: Tekonsha Falls Despite Big Games from Angel Veenkant and Reagan Henry

Tekonsha lost against Factoryville Christian back in December of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tekonsha Indians fell 33-26 to Factoryville Christian.

Despite the loss, Tekonsha had strong showings from Reagan Henry, who posted ten points in addition to five rebounds and five steals, and Angel Veenkant, who put up 14 points. That was a full 38.5% of Tekonsha's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Tekonsha dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Factoryville Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Tekonsha will take on Hillsdale Academy in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Factoryville Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Battle Creek Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
