Baseball Game Preview: West Port Wolf Pack vs. Santa Fe Raiders

The West Port Wolf Pack will challenge the Santa Fe Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Port will be strutting in after a victory while Santa Fe will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Tuesday, West Port earned a 5-2 win over Dixie County.

West Port got a great performance from Kaiden Lavery as he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

At the plate, West Port saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ricardo Soto, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe fell victim to Episcopal School of Jacksonville and their airtight pitching crew last Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Eagles. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Raiders were not able to get on the board.

Santa Fe now has a losing record of 7-8. As for West Port, their victory bumped their record up to 3-13.
