Softball Preview: Hicks Pirates vs. David Thibodaux Bulldogs

The Hicks Pirates will face off against the David Thibodaux Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Hicks proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 11) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Florien 4-3. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Courtlyn Dousay made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and one double.
