Basketball Recap: Denton Triumphs

Denton won the last time they faced Lake Highlands and things went their way on Saturday too. The Broncos came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 56-45. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Broncos.

Ethan Sheats was a one-man wrecking crew as he almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Cheadle, who posted 14 points.

Denton's record now sits at 2-0.

Coming up, Denton will face off against Plano East at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lake Highlands, they will welcome Mansfield Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
