Baseball Game Preview: North Eagles vs. Horse Creek Academy Stallions

The North Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Horse Creek Academy Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

North is leaving town to face Horse Creek Academy after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. North lost 17-0 to Horse Creek Academy on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Stallions: they've now lost four in a row.

For Horse Creek Academy's part, they got a massive performance out of Connor Kanagy, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Kanagy is becoming a predictor of Horse Creek Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Caden Downey was another key player, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with four RBI and one stolen base.
