Soccer Recap: Whitney Comes Up Short

Whitney lost against Valley Christian back in November of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats lost 5-0 to the Defenders.

Whitney's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Valley Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Whitney will venture away from home to take on Pomona at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley Christian, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Ontario Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Ontario Christian's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Valley Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
