Crosby extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 9-9-1. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Dayton Broncos. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Dayton, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-16. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Dayton's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Barziza, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Crosby will challenge rival Porter at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dayton is set to face off against their familiar foe West Fork at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
