Basketball Recap: Cheyenne/Reydon Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cheyenne/Reydon waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 59-48 win over the Arapaho Indians. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-32 back in January.

Cheyenne/Reydon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Bogges, who posted 19 points and five assists. That's the most assists Bogges has posted since back in November of 2024. Kimbo Denney was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to six rebounds and six blocks.

Bogges wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Cheyenne/Reydon was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matches.

Cheyenne/Reydon has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.2 points per game. As for Arapaho, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Cheyenne/Reydon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-27 victory against Corn Bible Academy on the 4th. Arapaho has also already played their next matchup (against Hinton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
