Basketball Game Preview: Stowe Raiders vs. Oxbow Olympians

The Stowe Raiders will take on the Oxbow Olympians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Wednesday, Stowe came up short against Richford and fell 53-41. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Oxbow took a blow against Twinfield on Wednesday, falling 80-45. The Olympians haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Oxbow's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Stowe, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Stowe skirted past Oxbow 39-36 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Stowe since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
