Bush waltzed into their game on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the South Whidbey Falcons with a sharp 4-1 win. Given Bush's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 46th, while South Whidbey are ranked 204th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bush's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for South Whidbey, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bush will square off against Bear Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bush will be up against Bear Creek's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.75 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for South Whidbey, they will face off against King's at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th.
