Basketball Recap: Johnson County Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last eight games, Johnson County finally came back down to earth on Monday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 15-14 to the Hampton Bulldogs. The match marked the Longhorns' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Johnson County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-21 record this season. Hampton is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season.
