Soccer Recap: Carlsbad Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Carlsbad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Artesia Bulldogs. Carlsbad were not able to make up for their defeat to Artesia from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Carlsbad's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-2. As for Artesia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlsbad will welcome Las Cruces at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Artesia, they will square off against Ruidoso at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
