Basketball Recap: Commodore Perry Takes a Loss

Commodore Perry was the 56-35 winner over Maplewood when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Commodore Perry Panthers were beaten by the Maplewood Tigers 56-19 on Friday. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Commodore Perry and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Maplewood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Commodore Perry will head out on the road to challenge Cambridge Springs at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Maplewood has already played their next game, a 53-28 victory against Wilmington on the 11th.
