Basketball Game Preview: University Prep Art & Design Mustangs vs. University Prep Panthers

University Prep Art & Design is 0-5 against University Prep since January of 2020 but things could change on Thursday. The University Prep Art & Design Mustangs will take on the University Prep Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with ten losses in a row, University Prep Art & Design turned things around against Detroit Community on Tuesday. They skirted past the Hurricanes 42-39.

Meanwhile, University Prep was able to grind out a solid win over Westfield Prep on Friday, taking the game 70-63. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Warriors are ranked 323rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

University Prep Art & Design's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-15. As for University Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

University Prep Art & Design might still be hurting after the 65-41 defeat they got from University Prep when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can University Prep Art & Design avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
